Description
A Three piece slot punch set for use with my tooling tongs. They can be used with a hand hammer, treadle hammer, or power hammer.
These punches have square of ends and are used to put rectangular holes in your work cutting through the steel. The punches are tapered and can be used to enlarge a hole after punching.
The three pieces are the following size at the end and are 3 3/4″ long
1/2″x1/4″ 3/4″x5/16″ 3/8″x1″
The standard set is made of heat treated 1045, If greater performance is required such as punching thick sections where its difficult to adequately cool the tool H13 is available.
