Hand forged throwing axe, Camping hatchet, with Staight handle

Description

This hand forged axe is designed for throwing with input from our local axe throwing league meeting world axe throwing league specifications for throwing. Although it was modeled for throwing it would still be great as a camping hatchet. Finished with linseed oil

Forged from a solid piece of 5160 carbon steel and carefully heat treated for a fine edge.

The straight hickory handle has a shape akin to a hammer perfect for throwers who like a hefty handle.

A leather sheath for when not in use.
